IS GHOSTWRITER REALLY HORROR?
Ghostwriter is an educational TV show created by Sesame Workshop (Formally The Children's Television Workshop) about a group of kids who live in Brooklyn, as they solve mysteries with clues given by a ghost. The ghost can only communicate by manipulating text and letters he could find and use them to form words and sentences. The TV show aired on PBS from 1992 until 1995. It has since been rerun on Noggin until 2003. That's what I have researched. I originally wanted to cover this one issue 3, but I decided maybe not. Until now that is.
Now, I think it's time to explain this. Is this show really horror themed. The answer to that is no. It's not really a horror TV show much like Goosebumps or even Are You Afraid of the Dark. It's focused on the educational premise. It can help school students with their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. And besides that, each of the mysteries they solve are in four part episodes, except for the first and fifth stories which contain five episodes. To be honest, I still find it interesting. I love the concept of the ghost that can find whatever word or letter he could for various words or sentences. And if I'm being honest, I'd say I have enjoyed it.
Also, this is to the parents of young children. Although it isn't a horror series at all, this series is perfect for your children who want to learn how to read and write. Someday they could become authors, directors, scriptwriters, or maybe even whatever involves writing. It's sure to be a 90s piece of treasure you might remember when growing up with no cable or if you tuned into Noggin.
CYBER PHANTOM'S MOVIE REVIEWS
Obsession (2026)
"Just because you chose this for her doesn't make it less real"
I wished on a One Wish Willow that I would be able to see this movie in theaters, and surely enough, it came true. I really wasn't expecting much, but it was something that I will remember for the rest of my entire life. The story is about Bear who makes a wish that Nikki would love him more than everything in the world. However, he learns that for every wish, there's a price to pay. This is something that got me on the edge of my seat. Of course I had to keep watching.
There were some WTF scenes that got me jumping out of my seat. I gotta tell you. This story was really interesting because of the dialogue and even the soundtrack too. Not to mention, that this could be one the best films I ever saw. I must thank Curry Barker for creating this wonderful masterpiece. I 100% would give this film a big thumbs up.

For over many years since Tales from the Horrorweb launched in 2018, he has placed his heart and soul into creating them. Now, he has some writer's block, and needs your help to get him back on track. This week, he's asking you to submit your ideas to him, and he will incorporate them into a story. You can submit your ideas in the comments. If you don't have any ideas at this time, it's alright.
